I also thought readers of the book may want to know the exact versions of the songs that I used to make these number charts. YouTube is a great resource in this regard. The best part (or most fun part) of the book is playing along with the original recordings, I think. I think it is a great resource for those wanting to learn the Nashville number system, since it allows you to play along with real songs. The book includes a thorough but succinct overview of the Nashvillve number system, as well as Nashville number charts for 200 country songs that span from the dawn of recorded country music (i.e., around 1950) to the modern day (circa 2015). As far as I know, this book is the first large-scale fake book to ever be published using the Nashville number system. In 2015, Hal Leonard published my Nashville number system fake book.
